Cyprus is broken in half, the North of the island has the same visa regulations as Turkey (listed under middle east on this site), while the south has its own visa regulations.
Visas are not required by visitors from the following countries for visit up to 90 days.
Albania, Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, St Kitts and Nevis, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City and Venezuela.
People who have a residence permit for any state of the European Union(Except UK and Ireland) including Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein also do not require a visa.
If you have a stamp from Northern Cyprus in your passport, you may not be able to enter Southern Cyprus. The rule is no longer enforced but the border guards in the North who will stamp your entry and exit stamps on a separate piece of paper if you ask.
